Dr. Samaha Clinic
Brain , Movement Disorders, and Spine
About Our Clinic
Our clinic was established at Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital under the name “Dr. Samaha’s Clinic” dedicated to providing the highest level of medical care in the field of brain, nerve, and spinal surgery. We specialize in treating brain tumors without surgery using Gamma Knife technology, in addition to treating spinal problems and herniated discs using endoscopy, and treating Parkinson’s disease using deep brain stimulation.
Advanced Techniques and Non-Surgical Treatment
In 2015, the Gamma Knife Center was updated by introducing the Perfexion Gamma Knife, which increased the success rate and the number of treatable conditions. This advanced technology allows treatments to be carried out with extreme precision, reaching up to 0.1 mm, reducing side effects and enabling the treatment of brain and spinal tumors without surgery. The treatment is based on determining the external boundaries of the tumor using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), or three-dimensional digital subtraction angiography (DSA), then directing focused gamma beams to the target within the brain.
