About Dr. Samaha's Clinic
Our clinic was established at Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital under the name “Dr. Samaha’s Clinic,” dedicated to providing the highest level of medical care in the field of brain, nerve, and spinal surgeries. We specialize in treating brain tumors without surgery using Gamma Knife technology. Additionally, we treat spinal problems, herniated discs, and slipped discs using endoscopy, and Parkinson’s disease using deep brain stimulation.
In 2015, we updated the Gamma Knife center by introducing the Perfexion Gamma Knife, which increased the success rate and number of diseases it can treat. This technology allows the treatment of brain and spinal tumors without surgery. The treatment depends on determining the external boundaries of the tumor using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), or digital subtraction angiography (DSA), then directing a focused gamma ray beam to the target inside the brain.
