The Gamma Knife treatment mechanism for tumors and brain diseases depends on determining the external borders of the tumor by means of magnetic imaging, tomography, or a three-dimensional arterial catheter (stereotactic imaging), that is, after installing the corrective surgery device (stereotactic) on the patient`s head with local anesthesia and making the aforementioned images, after which the plan is made. The therapeutic Gamma Plan is where we direct gamma-type focused beams to the target or tumor inside the brain from (192) therapeutic beam tubes, in one sitting, with pinpoint accuracy and without causing any damage to the healthy brain tissue surrounding the tumor
